We’re looking for:

  • Gritty fiction, urban drama, emotional truth-tellers

  • Writers who are ready to market with us and believe in the long game

 

We are not looking for:

  • Authors who want quick overnight success

  • People unwilling to promote their work

  • Spam, AI-only content, or copyright violations

We Accept All Genres. Just Be Bold.

Steps (numbered):

  1. Download and complete the [Manuscript Submission Form PDF] (linked).

  2. Submit your completed form along with a sample (3 chapters or full manuscript) via the online form.

  3. If accepted, you’ll receive a welcome email and contract.

  4. Your $300 signing bonus is paid once final manuscript is approved for production.

  5. We begin the editing, formatting, and design process together.​

When uploading your sample pages, please make sure your name and book title are included in the header or file name.

I didn’t start writing because it was easy.
I started writing because it was the only way to survive.

I’m a storyteller, a survivor, and the founder of Built in the Shadows Publishing. My words are rooted in truth the kind of truth that comes from growing up too fast, loving too hard, and learning how to save yourself when no one else shows up.

My books speak to the girls they tried to break.
My journals and planners are for the women learning to rebuild.

This isn’t just fiction. This is real life told through the characters who carry pieces of me… and maybe even pieces of you.
